SAE Market Differentiations

Market Differentiations

SAE is regarded as the pioneer of practical audio education having opened the world’s first audio engineering school in 1976. Today SAE is the world’s largest network of audio, multimedia, animation, and digital film Institutes with more than 50 campuses on five continents. We offer accelerated and intensive learning in the form of a two year degree, one year diploma, short courses and corporate training.

Main aspects which differentiate SAE Programs from all the other offers available on the market are:

  1. Practical aspect: Our curricula enable media engineers (graduates of all four program) to perform production in a methodical and scientific way. This gives them the edge in understanding and implementing technology and improving productivity.
  2. Industry Relevance: Industry leaders recognize our programs as being highly relevant with our emphasis on updating and training on the latest technology and as also being highly practical – since all our students get hands-on experience from their first day at SAE. This acknowledgement by industry leaders is appropriately proven by the many internships offered to SAE students.
  3. Productivity and Cost cutting: We teach our students all aspects in the field of his/ her discipline – including the business-side of production (with emphasis on productivity and cost cutting), enabling them to understand the complete production processes and to implement and execute a successful production project from start to the very end. In addition, our programs include contemporary international developments in content in the various fields of study so that our students are at all times kept abreast of these international creations..
  4. Quality: Quality aspects of the SAE programs, content and delivery methodologies are done in accordance with the ʻSAE Quality Assurance and Operations Manualʼ which is adapted and implemented internationally. SAE Quality Assurance inspectors monitor the entire operational aspects of the running of the training institutes and courses on a periodical basis. The faculty members are usually SAE trained but all faculty members have relevant industry experience and academic qualifications. Regular re-training and technological skills upgrading sessions for the staff is done on an ongoing basis, with faculty subjected to knowledge tests once in 12 months for recertification.
  5. Accreditation: SAE programs are accredited in various locations, and by various institutions worldwide. SAE is also an higher education institution in its own right.
  6. Facilities: SAE is one of the few educational institutes worldwide that have all required training facilities in-house. These mirror those within the industry used for commercial projects. However these facilities are strictly for the use by students for educational purposes only. SAE has a strict policy of keeping out commercial production from its colleges to ensure all students get ample time for use of its facilities.
  7. Updated Curriculum: Part of the curriculum for each territory is custom made to incorporate requirements of the local media industry into the international SAE curriculum which is constantly updated to reflect changes in this dynamic growth industry across the world..
  8. Technology: SAE regularly updates its equipment according to industry trends, in order to keep the facilities current and on par with the industry. This is the only way that our students can get practical hands-on education on current technology.
